Garran mum wins award

Hannah Andrevski won the ABC Community Spirit Award!

One of the great things about having a P&C community blog is that we can all share and celebrate the skills and successes of each other.

When we caught up with Hannah to ask her how she feels about being recognised for her contribution to the community, she humbly replied:

“I’m really chuffed to be awarded the ABC Community Spirit Award. Roundabout Canberra owes its existence to community spirit. I may have had the drive and vision to get it up and running, but its continuation is thanks to the community spirit of our team of over 200 volunteers, members of the community who donate their pre-loved goods, and the incredible services we work with to distribute goods to families! This is a fantastic acknowledgement of all that!”

HANNAH ANDREVSKI FOUNDER OF ROUNDABOUT CANBERRA

Hannah set-up Roundabout Canberra when she saw a need in the ACT to provide safe and clean baby and children’s items to families. The ethos is simple: Every child deserves a safe start and every family deserves dignity.

CONGRATULATIONS to Hannah and her team – well deserved.
